Tasting Notes: Figs, Caramel Apple, Purple Florals.
Violet Crumble is a washed coffee produced by 90 smallholder farmers from the Red 5 de Diciembre Network in La Cañada, Mexico, at an elevation of 1,966 meters. Representing the Mazatec indigenous group, these producers use 12–24 hours of fermentation and 7–11 days of drying to craft a coffee that combines the traditional chocolatey profile of Mexican coffees with subtle violet florals. The result is a balanced and comforting cup with flavors of caramel, apple, fig, and chocolate.
